日本と海外のゲームの違いはこんな所にも！実績の違いについてまとめてみる

ゲームをプレイするスタイルは人それぞれだと思うんですが、ボクはスタイルの1つとして「実績」を獲得するのが好きなんですよね。
もちろんそれだけを目指してプレイするわけではなくて楽しみながら実績を埋めていくようなカジュアルスタイルなんですけど、そうやってプレイしていて、特にPCゲームをプレイ初めて海外産のゲームに触る機会が増えた事も相まって意外と日本と海外の実績の作り方の違いが面白いと思ったので今回は実績視点で日本と海外のゲーム性の違いなどについてまとめてみました。
日本のゲームは数字で語りがち？
日本のゲームの実績で感じるのはまず「数字」が目に付く事。○○をいくつ集めるとか、○○を何％達成するというような「数字」に関する事が本当に多い！実績って難易度分けされていたりもするわけですけど、難しい物はこの数字が高めに設定されているといった感じなんですよね。
なんとなく日本らしいというか、数をこなしていけばいつか達成出来るような形式になっているような形になっているものが多い印象を受けます。
またこれはゲームの種類にもよっても違う所があるんですが、日本のゲームの実績ってゲームにある遊びを一通り遊んでいけば自然と集まっていくような作りになっていたりするんですよね。もちろん上記でも紹介したように数をこなしたりする必要はあるんですが、それでもやっている事自体は何も変わっていないというパターンが非常に多いんですよ！
学校のテストとかでもあった「95点は頑張れば取れるけど100点は取られないようなテスト」って経験ありませんか？1問だけ引っ掛け問題があったり難易度の高い問題があったりして100点は本当に取れないようになってるってパターンの奴。なんか先生にも100点取られたら負け的な心理が働くのが学年に一人はこういう事をする先生がいたようなイメージがあったりします。
日本のゲームの実績にも同じような考えがあって、何か1つは明らかに他とは違うような難易度になっている物があるイメージがあります。
この1つだけは意識してプレイしないと獲得できなかったり、そもそも別枠扱いと言える程の設定になっていたりゲームによって仕掛け方は様々なんですけど、色々な形で難易度が上げられているように感じます。
日本の実績はコンプリート要素
ここまで書いた事を総まとめすると日本のゲームの実績というのはコンプリート要素の到達点なんですよね。
1つ1つが表彰状的な要素になっていると考えると良いでしょうか。
また最終的にコンプリートを目的とするようなプレイをしやすくする為もあってか実績の数が少なめである事が多いのも大きな特徴です。少ないゲームだと20、多くても50超えるくらいしかないゲームが一般的。多いゲームはそれだけ難易度が高いというかというとそうでもなく、キャラ別になっていたり勢力やチーム別に個別に実績があって結果増えているといった印象でしょうか。
収集する事が楽しいという人が集める傾向にあるんかな？
遊び心が多い海外ゲームの実績
対して海外のゲームの実績を見ていて感じるのはとにかく遊び心が多いという事！
簡単な物はチュートリアルをこなしている内に取れるものからあるんですけど一通り遊んだなと思っても1割も取れていない事なんてザラ！
というよりも実績を獲得する事を目指して何度もプレイするような形式になっている物も多いんですよね。もちろんゲームの種類にもよるんですが意図して狙わないとそうはならないっていうゲームが多い印象を受けます。
いい意味でも悪い意味でも遊び心が満載なのが海外のゲームの実績ですね。
そんな作りなので海外のゲームの実績は難易度が日本のゲーム以上にバラバラな印象が強いです。日本のゲームの実績には1つの項目に対して○○までいったら1つ、クリアしたら1つといったような物理的に順番に達成していくしかない実績も目立つんですけど海外はそれぞれの実績がアメーバ状に色々な方向に伸びているので共通した事を目指す実績があまりない。
だからこそどちらかといえば海外のゲームの実績はチャレンジ要素とでも言えばいいのか、開発者からプレイヤーへの挑戦状のようになっているとも感じ取れます。チャレンジ要素なのでコンプリートさせるつもりもあまりなく自由度の高いゲームにおいての1つの道標的な要素になっている事が多いです。その都合上実績の数が100を超えるようなゲームもザラにあって、またDLCなどが発売されると追加されるような例も目立ちます。
実績はそのままプレイスタイルの違いとも……
実績って基本的には開発者が設定しているわけですけどお国柄とでもいえば良いのかプレイスタイルやゲーム性の差がそのまま実績の設定の仕方にも現れているように感じますね！
日本のゲームはわりとかっちりしているのが多くてゲームを進める上での道筋もしっかりとしている物が多いので実績も道筋の通り道やそこから伸びる枝葉に配置されていく形式。
対して海外のゲームは自由度の高いゲームも多く、その自由度故に道標となるように実績がアメーバ状に各方面に伸びている。実績を目指しても良し、全く別のスタイルを確率するも良しといったデザインになってるというのが非常に印象的になっています。
ただこれって開発者はそうであってもプレイヤーがそうとは限らないのが面白い所！日本人にも自由度の高いゲームを好む人はいますし、海外の方でも日本のゲームを好んでプレイする人がいるように必ずしも自分の国で作られたゲームが自分に合うとは限らないんですよね。
ちなみに何故かチスイ様が最近ハマったゲームはスウェーデンにルーツを持つゲームが多くなっています
