Todoリストとして長らく愛用しているTodoist！
Todoistの1つのメリットと言えるのが様々なデバイスやOS向けに展開されている事で、情報の共有が円滑に行える点です。
Windows、Mac、iOS、Android、Linuxなどの主要なOSに加え、ウェアラブルデバイスなども対応した物が登場しています。
そんなわけで自分の使い方にはどれがあっているんだろうと考えて現状で使える全てのデバイスで使ってみたので所感をまとめてみました。
使ってみたデバイスと所感
PCブラウザ版
1番最初に使い始めたのがPCブラウザ版でした。
ボクはメインブラウザがChromeなので作業している中のタブの1つとして開いているという使い方をしていました。
その後Chromeのアプリ化を知り、ページの遷移が基本的に存在しないTodoistはアプリ化と相性が良いと考えてアプリ化して使用しています。
PCアプリ版
Todoistの場合Chromeをアプリ化せずとも、インストールして使用するアプリ版も存在しています。ただこのアプリ版、どうもブラウザ版より少し動作が重い印象を受けました。
元々ボクの作業用PCはかなりの年代物で現行のスペックを考えるとかなり低いという事、ボクが何でもTodoistに登録する事から、登録しているタスクの数が多いという事など様々な要因が考えられると思うのですが、一定のタスク数を越えた段階でTodoistのアプリだけがホワイトアウトしてしまうようになってしまいました。
同じタスク数でもブラウザ版は動作しているのでアプリ版の方が何かしら負担が大きいのだと考えられます。
環境が変わったり、登録するタスク数が少なければそこまで影響はない可能性も0ではないな
流石に1800を超えるタスクは登録のしすぎなのではないかと思いますが……
ブラウザ拡張機能版
ボクの使い方と相性があまり良くなく、あまり長い期間使う事がなかったのがChromeとFirefox向けにそれぞれ用意されているブラウザ拡張機能版です。
ブラウザでしか作業をしない時には良いんですけど、その他のソフトを使用している時間も多いボクにとっては拡張機能で開くのが少し煩わしく感じてしまったんですよね。
特にアプリ版やPCブラウザ版をアプリ化して使用するとタスクバーに登録できるというのが大きな違いでした。
これは完全に使い方との相性の影響が強そうだな
ブラウザをメインに使用する人であれば拡張機能版の恩恵は大きいのではないかと考えられますね
モバイル版
外出先などでタスクを確認するのに利用しているモバイル版。ボクの場合はAndroid端末に登録して使用しています。スマホならではの操作も一部あるものの、特に問題なく使用できます。
ボクがスマホでの作業をメインとしていたら十分にメインとして使えるだろうと思います。
PCで作業している時間が長いから優先度が下がってる感じだな
今後の使い方はブラウザ版＋モバイル版に決まり！
そんなわけで今回は簡単にTodoistのデバイス毎のインプレをまとめてみました。
元々がシンプルなTodoリストなのでそこまで差があるとは思わないんですけど、細かな所で違いがあるんですよね。
ボクは今後もブラウザ版をメインに外出先ではモバイル版を併用するという形での使用をしていく事になると思います。
